The project /
Aims

  • To promote social capital and collective efficacy in order to prevent child abuse and maltreatment, providing community (practitioners, teachers, educators, parents, and adults in a wide spectrum) with the necessary set of knowledge, training, tools and techniques to better recognise the signs of child abuse and maltreatment so that children can easily report the cases and they can be signaled more quickly by the child protection agencies.
  • Develop an b-learning game to Child Abuse and maltreatment Prevention & Awareness. The game targets children from 6 to 9 years and will be available in community organisations requiring those practitioners to be trained in its use. The online component of the game aims to transfer knowledge by playing (conceptualize); classroom component is behaviorally-based, aiming to develop prevention skills and communication abilities.
